Summary:
To achieve full visual impact and maximise the space available the pool was located up against the building. This was made easier due to the fact that the house was not yet constructed. Extra deep footings were added as to not undermine the building. The result is a striking lap lane that wraps around the house and provides a feeling of close proximity to water.
The pool and spa feature infloor cleaning, dual heating systems, automatic chlorination and pool/spa automation which all make the pool easy to operate while reducing the maintenance time.
In a testament to the success of the project this pool was awarded a Gold Award for Best Residential Concrete Swimming Pool Under $100,000 at the 2010 SPASA Pool Awards
