Designed for a young family with a desire to get the most out of their yard.
Our clients had a young family and small backyard that they wanted to enhance and create a space that could be enjoyed year round. The yard was split level, which created a challenge in itself. Access was extremely tight with 1m maximum down the side of the house. This included bridging a deck and small flight of stairs. A mini excavator was used to dig the hole and the dirt was transported to the front via conveyer belts. This added a significant cost to the excavation.
As the clients where bust people they wanted a pool that did not require a lot of maintenance and was easy to operate. All of our typical low maintenance features and finishes were installed including:
- Fully tiled pool and spa
- Paramount PCC2000 infloor cleaning system
- Gemini Water Management System
- Automatic water leveling
The pool was designed to include a spa. This adds to the mount of time that the clients can use the pool as it can be heated very quickly. This allows it to be used all year. A central water feature was designed at the rear of the pool to provide a stunning backdrop from the house. When the water feature is running it creates a nice ambience that also allows the pool to be enjoyed all year. Below the water feature is a little seating area, which is fun to sit on with the water running, and also a nice place to relax on a sunny day.
